Colene | Logan Utah Senior Portrait Photographer

It's been a busy couple of weeks around here!  I'm still playing catch-up on all of the shoots I've done.  I delivered 5 lucky people their images yesterday! *Whew* Almost there!  Really wouldn't have it any other way though.

Colene is another Logan High 2013 graduate.  I've been just having those seniors that go to Logan High meet me at the school and then leave from there.  As luck would have it, the boys soccer team was also their waiting for their rides home.  For some reason (please read with sarcasm) Colene wasn't too big of a fan of having an audience there, so we took about 3 pictures there and headed on our way to a park.  While we were there, her dad showed me her prom dress and was talking about a field of flowers up by their house.  Once I saw the dress I knew I had to get her senior portraits in it!  So we all headed to their house for her to change.

She and I had so much fun out in that field! She looked gorgeous.  We played out there until after the sun went down.  She found that a photo shoot can be a lot of fun if the whole school isn't watching.  Thanks Colene, I had A LOT of fun!  I hope you did too.

Sadie | Logan Utah Senior Portrait Photographer

I'm about half way through all of the Senior Portrait posts I have to do.  I have enjoyed doing this so much it's not even funny!  Getting to meet this kids/adults has been so much fun.

Sadie met me at Logan High and we went around campus to get a few pictures.  Logan High School has a very pretty campus!  I make all of the Seniors I take there sit next to the river.  They probably all think it's a corny picture, but I love the water.  We wandered around the few blocks surrounding the high school and then the real adventure began.  I asked them to blindly follow me out into the middle of nowhere :)  I had to find myself a big wide open field.  Luckily those aren't too hard to come by here in Cache Valley.

The sunset that night was gorgeous and we got the coolest shots!  I think I'm turning into a big of a strobist :)  I just love the drama of it!  Thanks to Sadie, her mom, and her sister for trusting me and my strange vision and allowing me to take her senior portraits!

Kortnee | Logan Utah Senior Portrait Photographer

This is the last of my Senior Models for the 2012-2013 school year.  She had a shoot last spring and another just this last weekend.  It has been amazing to me to see how much these girls change in just a year.  They just all seem so much more mature and confident.  It's like they are coming back to me as completely different people.

I love being around Kortnee and her mom, they are such a blast and so much fun!  They brought lots of fun things for her portraits and had really planned things out.  Kortnee just has so much confidence!  She is going to do great things.

This is my first year having a "real" Senior Model program and I have to wonder, will it always be this sad when they all graduate?  Thanks to all my Senior Models!  You've been so much fun to work with. Now, on to the 2013-2014 Models, you'll start seeing them soon!

Montana | Northern Utah Senior Photographer

I really had a hard time deciding if I was going to go on this shoot.  Brandi had invited me along because she was shooting a friend of the family and she doesn't usually shoot Senior portraits.  You all know I have a love of taking Senior photos, but..... I'm deathly allergic to horses.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  In fact, if I hadn't gone along, I would have missed out on the greatest adventure!  We took a dirt road into the mountains of Northern Utah that I had never been on before, and believe me, I'm going back!  The views were to die for and everything was so green and beautiful.  Her senior pictures turned out beautiful!

Nichole | Logan Utah Senior Portrait Photographer

Nichole is up next in my stream of super cute Seniors that I am getting to photograph right now.  Each time I get home from one of these shoots I say to myself (and anyone else who will listen to me) "I seriously have the best job!".  These Seniors are so much fun to be around, I am so lucky to get to be doing their Senior portraits!

When Nichole pulled up to her shoot, I started to drool!  She had this awesome Jeep and I thought, she had better be willing to take pictures with that, because it was awesome!  Just my luck, that was her plan all along.  She had shined it right up just for the shoot.  We took her up high to get the shots, and it was the first time her Jeep had been "off road-ing".  It truly was awesome!

She is so much fun to be around, and believe it or not, that is her real eye color.  So gorgeous!  I think I may just have to borrow her later on for some practice shoots because her smile is so infectious!  Thanks Nichole, for choosing me to do your Senior photos!

Jordan | Northern Utah Senior Pictures Photographer

Yay, more senior portraits! Really, it's the most wonderful time of the year (did you sing along with that in your head?).  For this shoot, I got to go to Union Station and shoot there.  I have been there once, long ago, but I have never done a shoot there.  Jordan and her mom were from Salt Lake and we decided to meet in the middle there to do her senior pictures.

It is a really fun place to shoot.  Of course, it tells you to stay off the trains, but you just can't! They are too cool and tempting! Within minutes of starting to shoot a woman came up to us and we were sure we were getting kicked off the property, she was actually just looking out for me and telling me that my reflector would disappear in minutes if I left it sitting where I had.  Phew!  Jordan is going into the Army and her mom spotted this train car with US Army on the side.  How lucky was that?!  I also drug them out to a park in Riverdale to get some nature shots.  They really were such great sports.

Thanks Jordan for letting me photograph your senior photos. Good luck in the Army and I hope you really do get to see the world like you want!

Sarah | Logan Utah Senior Portrait Photographer

After Christmas, this is turning out to be one of my favorite times of year, Senior pictures season!  I have been getting quite a few calls about doing some "last minute" (I don't really see it that way) senior photos and I could not be happier.  I love doing them more than most kinds of photography.  So bring them on.

This gorgeous girl had to reschedule twice because of the unpredictable weather here in Cache Valley.  We finally planned to meet at Logan High (because personally, I think their campus is beautiful), but when we got there I think there was both a soccer game and a baseball game going on.  No one wants that big of an audience for their Senior portraits! So we had to wing it at another location, we made due and had fun.

Thanks so much Sarah for choosing me to do your portraits, I had a great time!
